Jerusalem

PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM

God tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem in Psalm 122:6-9,

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
“May they be secure who love you!
Peace be within your walls
and security within your towers!”
For my brothers and companions’ sake
I will say, “Peace be within you!”
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your good. (NIV)

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is most appropriate for a city whose name literally means “peaceful” and which is the residence of the God of peace.Jesus also said that we should be peacemakers, which would include praying for peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God”.
GOD Almighty gave Jerusalem to Israel as an everlasting Covenant.

Here are few things which God said about and for Jerusalem.
  •  God pronounced Blessings on those who bless Jerusalem.
  •  God pronounced a Curse on those who curse Jerusalem.
  • The return of our Lord and Saviour is directly related to Jerusalem.

How Should We Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem Today?
In the year 70 A.D. a great national tragedy struck the Jewish people. As Roman legions swept down upon the "City of Peace," the Temple, center of Jewish worship for thousands of years, was destroyed. It has never been rebuilt. Moreover, the Jewish people have been scattered over the face of the globe, so that today only about a third of the world's Jewish population resides in Israel. How and what should we then pray, with neither the majority of the Jewish people nor the Temple any longer in the land of Israel? This very change in situation allows us to apply the psalm to our present circumstances. In fact, we could devise a prayer list based on Psalm 122.
Pray for the Countries Where the Jewish People Have Been Scattered
Hardly a country on the face of the earth has not had some Jewish inhabitants at one time or another. Furthermore, history records that in times of national distress or unrest, blame for a particular country's problems more often than not fell on its Jewish inhabitants. It is ironic that the term "scapegoat," applied to one who is made to bear the brunt of another's mistakes, derives from Leviticus, a book given to the world by Jewish people in the first place! Yet Jews often have been scapegoats of the non-Jewish world. To pray, then, for the nations of the world where Jewish people live is not only commendable in itself; it will help to insure safety and blessing for their Jewish citizens.
The following is a Poem by Dr. Elias E. Hidalgo,Founder-Director of Shalom Scripture Studies.

'JERUSALEM OF GOD'

Jerusalem is The city of GOD,
Where His Holy feet have trod,
Someday soon, we will be there,
And as He promised, in His care.

The GOD of Jacob made His choice,
Where His people would hear His voice,
His Beloved Son, Yeshua cried,
Although heartbroken when He sighed.

On the cross in Jerusalem City,
Indeed, He was a sight of pity,
But when, He arose from the dead,
He conquered all, as He said.

He's coming back as a Lion,
To rule and reign from Zion,
As eternity, He ushers in,
In New Jerusalem, Yeshua our King.

Rapture

WHAT IS RAPTURE ??

The Rapture is a Glorious event which GOD has Promised to the Church.

The reference is in the scriptures, I Thessalonians 4:17,

17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.

It is also known as the Lord's Secret Coming. He comes,as a thief in the night.

The promise is that someday very soon, at the blowing of a trumpet and the shout of an archangel, Jesus will appear in the sky and take up His Church, living and dead, to Heaven.

In Matthew 24:27,the scripture clearly says
27: For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west,so will be the Son of Man.

The term "Rapture" comes from a Latin word, "rapio" that means "To Catch up, or to take out".

Rapture is mainly about the TIME.The time it will take place,no one knows, neither the Angels in Heaven, nor the Son Of GOD.Only the Almighty Father knows and decides.
It may occur,at any place,at any time. There may be people Left Behind.
There may be people thinking that, being a Christian,He/She can be caught up.             The answer is, NO!!!
Not everybody is caught up in the secret coming, only the people who are awake, who are under Christ, who are prayful, can be caught up.

Here's a video of how Rapture will be....:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyzaJfRSLts

Watch and Pray!!   Abide in Christ!!   Be Ready!!

PROPHECY

What is the Biblical definition of “prophecy”?

Bible prophecy or biblical prophecy is the supposed foretelling or prediction of what is to come,as specified in the Bible. The Biblical prophets are usually considered to have received revelations from God, subsequently recording them in the relevant writings.Such passages are widely distributed throughout the Bible, but those most often cited are from EzekielDanielMatthew 24Matthew 25, and Revelation.

WHO IS A PROPHET ACCORDING TO BIBLE ?

A prophet was an individual who received a call from God to be God's spokesperson, often connected with some crisis that was about to occur, and then announced God's message of judgment and/or deliverance to Israel and the nations. The importance of this office can be seen in the fact that the word "prophet" occurs over 300 times in the Old Testament and almost 125 times in the New Testament. The term "prophetess" appears 6 times in the Old Testament and 2 times in the New Testament.
The Derivation and Meaning of "Prophet." The derivation and meaning of the word "prophet" has been a matter of controversy for several centuries now with no prospect of closure on this debate. Since most of the solutions to this enigma have been based on etymologies or terms in cognate languages, it is small wonder that no resolution has been forthcoming. Linguists are especially agreed that the most that etymologies can yield are only various suggestions. The only safe course in resolving the meaning of a word is to depend ultimately on usages in contexts.
PROPHETICAL BOOKS IN BIBLE ?
        MAJOR Prophetical Books:
  • Isaiah
  • Jeremiah
  • Lamentations
  • Ezekiel
  • Daniel                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               MINOR Prophetical Books:
  • Hosea
  • Joel
  • Amos
  • Jonah
  • Micah
  • Nahum
  • Habakkuk
  • Zephaniah
  • Haggai
  • Zechariah
  • Malachi                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   There are Various Last Days Prophecies mentioned in the Holy Bible. Here are some of the Last days Prophecies:
            666/Mark of the Beast-
The mark of the beast is the sign of the Antichrist, and is mentioned in Revelation 13:15-18
The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

Get Ready.....!!!!

      *"MARANATHAA"*

Prepare To Meet The LORD Your "GOD"(JESUS)

Jesus promised His disciples He would come again. In John 14:1-3,"Let not your heart be troubled. You are trusting God, now trust in Me. There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with Me where I am. If this weren't so, I would tell you plainly. And you know where I am going and how to get there."

Christ's return will be literal and real. It's in Acts 1:10-11, TLB. "It was not long afterwards that He rose into the sky and disappeared into a cloud, leaving them staring after Him. As they were straining their eyes for another glimpse, suddenly two white-robed men were standing there among them, and said, 'Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring at the sky? Jesus has gone away to heaven, and some day, just as He went, He will return!'"
How will Jesus come again? It's in Luke 21:27. "At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."
How many will see Him when He comes? It's in Revelation 1:7, NIV. "Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him."
What will we see and hear when He comes? It's in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, NIV. "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."
